One thing I've never like about Apple's Magic Keyboard - aside from the sky high price - was that the iPad is completely unprotected when removed. The only iPad I ever damaged was using the keyboard while trying to get it off and fumbling with it. The Satechi case gives it a little protection at least. Not that I'd want to test it to find out how much, but a little around the edges. It slips on easily and gives you a modicum of protection and makes the iPad a little less slick in your hands. My only criticism after using for a bout a week are the buttons. Te volume up/down cover the iPad buttons, but are cut 3/4 or so around them to allow the buttons to flex on the remaining plastic attaching them to the rest of the case. You can support the iPad at the bottom while you action the buttons to avoid that, but floating buttons with lighter action would be a big improvement. Other than that, I've seen some reviews that say the Magic Keyboard won't close with the case on. Not so. I have the case and a screen protector on my iPad and it closes evenly and sleek. The pencil holder is a great improvement. I got tired of fishing for my pencil as it constantly came off in my bag with the Magic Keyboard alone. The opening in the bag of the pencil slot could be a little bigger. I fumble a but trying…
