    Superb

    I bought this, then a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB from amazon. Together, they cost half the price of a 4TB SSD upgrade for the Mac mini from Apple. I copied some of my Steam games into this drive - most notable is The Elder Scroll Online, about 143GB in total and the copy took 2 minutes 36 seconds. Not bad, in my opinion and yes, I can play ESO from this external drive without much hiccup. The speed was amazing.

    I own a M2 Pro Mac mini which comes with four USB-C ports. As such, the first USB-C port aligned with the cable from this Satechi but I'd imagine that in a normal Mac mini, with just two USB-Cs, the cable is not aligned properly. If it doesn't bother you, then it's fine, otherwise please do note about this.

    Works Very Well and Looks Nice

    This is a very nice solution to a rather annoying problem using a Mac Mini. I was having to turn the mini around to see the USB slots. I even put the Mini on a rotating base. The Satechi product puts the ports right up front where they need to be. It's a very elegant solution!
